Overnight Lodging

A variety of accommodation styles provide options for a range of preferences & budgets. All retreat lodging has free access to Wi-Fi.

Lodge 1-3 Guest Rooms

Enjoy panoramic views of the fruit tree orchard from these 36 rooms. Each has 2 queen beds, a loveseat which opens to a single bed, and ensuite bathroom. Nearby lounges offer space to relax alone or as a group with sofas, minifridges, a microwave, and large flatscreen TV.

Lodge 4 Dormitory Suite

Common lounge space connects a series of bedrooms with a mix of twin and bunk beds. Bathrooms are accessible for each bedroom (some ensuite and some shared). Each floor is reserved separately. The top Level sleeps up to 24 guests in 5 bedrooms (6 bathrooms) while the bottom sleeps up to 36 guests in 7 bedrooms (6 bathrooms); 60 beds total.

NEW: Lodge 5 Boutique Hotel Rooms

With views of either native perennials or a hiking trail, our Leed Silver building has 25, executive-style, sustainably designed rooms. Each has 1 queen bed, a writing desk, mini fridge, and ensuite bathroom. Most rooms are also equipped with an armchair that can fold out to a sleeper.

Fidler’s Grove Log Cabins

Log Cabins sleep 7 to 9 guests in single beds or bunk beds, and one bathroom per cabin. Functional and convenient kitchenettes offer the option to bring your own food.

Bunk Houses

Nestled in the forest, 3-season bunk houses are the perfect place to connect with nature.  Each bunkhouse has two sides with an interior pocket door between. Each bunk house accommodates approximately 16 guests in twin and bunk beds.  A beautiful bathhouse with individual restrooms and showers is just steps away.

Woodleaf Vacation Home

Our vacation home is adjacent to our campus, and features seven bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, family room, formal dining room, and board room. This can be booked as overflow housing for large retreats or as a private space for small gatherings. More Information.

Retreat & Conference Meeting Space

For formal and informal gatherings, 16 meeting spaces and several lounges are perfect for retreats, business meetings, and professional conferences for groups as small as 10 to as large as 170.

The main retreat center has meeting and dining spaces on three floors, all accessed by elevator and stairs. All rooms have natural light and offer flexible layouts. The adjacent newly constructed Rain Garden building has two additional meeting spaces.

Meeting Space Highlights

  • All spaces can be configured for maximum productivity and comfort with our vast inventory of chairs, tables, AV equipment, yoga mats, meditation cushions and various office supplies.
  • All rooms and common areas are handicap-accessible with free access to WiFi.
  • A welcoming Main Lobby is a versatile space for event registration and informal breakout sessions. A complimentary self-service beverage station offers an assortment of coffees & teas.

Dining & Catering

Dining at Pearlstone features Certified Organic produce from our farm, prepared with the loving care of our talented culinary team. Whether it’s a bountiful buffet or an elegant plated service, your dining experience will leave you satiated and inspired.

Food Service Highlights:

Retreat Center Features

Fitness Room: recently renovated with free weights and cardio machines. Enjoy the views of the pasture, or pass the time with a large flat-screen TV.

Prayer Spaces: any room on our campus can be set up as a Prayer Space or for Religious Services; Jewish groups can request to use our Torah and a selection of siddurim and chumashim.

Games: Staying inside? We offer an assortment of crafts, puzzles & board games to use during your stay, or enjoy a game of Foosball or Ping Pong.

Play Room: groups may request a dedicated space to keep the youngest guests entertained with an assortment of toys and books.

Campfires: Perfect for evening singing, or just enjoy s’mores

Amenities & Activities

Hiking Trail: Our 3 mile loop trail surrounds the campus. Explore the forest and visit our newly restored stream bed.

*Farm and Educational Tours: Staff-led tours of our farms, animal pastures, forest trails, or stream beds for all ages. Guests are welcome to tour the grounds on their own at any time.

Outdoor Swimming Pools: Take a dip in three swimming pools (one with a water slide!) which offer slightly different swimming experiences depending on your preference. Certified lifeguards are required at all times so pool use must be booked in advance. Limited hours and seasonal use only.

*Lake: Paddle Boats and Canoes available seasonally. Certified lifeguards are required at all times so this must be booked in advance.

Sports Facilities: Enjoy plenty of open space as well as fields for softball & soccer, and basketball & volleyball courts.

*High Ropes Adventure Course: Reach new heights across 3 stories, 24 bridges and a 30-foot quick jump for a fun and thrilling challenge. Certified ropes instructors are required at all times so this must be booked in advance.

Transportation

Pearlstone is located at 5425 Mt. Gilead Rd., Reisterstown, MD 21136, about a half-hour northwest of Baltimore.

By car, we are about a 40-minute drive from BWI Airport, about 30-minutes from Penn Station, Baltimore, an 1:15 from Washington, DC and a 2:15 drive from Philadelphia.

We have ample parking on site, including a few EV charging stations.

There is no public transportation to the retreat center, although we can suggest companies that we have worked with in the past to shuttle your guests.
